Laila fell a sleep in the JumperRoo a few Saturdays ago. She was jumping away listening to the her Rockabye Baby CDs that Ty and Susan got for her when she just could not help but take a nap. She loves the JumperRoo so much than she even woke up for a small stint and continued to jump only fall back a sleep. After I stoped filming I went to take her out. As I was picking her up she woke up and continued to jump. I think she is addicted to her JumperRoo.

The Reverse Inch Worm
Laila hates tummy time and no matter how hard I try to get her to see that if she spends time on her tummy she will learn to crawl she still hates it. Here are some photos of how she has learned to do the Reverse Inch Worm to get around the room. I do not have video of it yet but I will keep trying.
The picture are not of the best quality. Every time I break out the camera to catch her in the act she stops and looks at me. Then all she want to do is strike a pose for the camera.
How the Revers Inch Worm works. First she arches her back rolling all her weight up to her head. Then she scoots her bottom up towards her head and then slides her head on the floor. As a result she now has the biggest bald spot. I fear that her hair will never grow in back there.

Laila has mastered sitting!

About Me
- The Laila Ledger
- I am new to this Blogging idea. Only recently while trying to make a video of the little one triumphantly, although in her mind not as triumphantly as it was irritating, rolling over from her back to her stomach for the grandparents to see, did I decide to start this blog. I want to give grandparents, family and friends the ability to come and enjoy the growth and development of our little Laila Marie.
